Brazil exceeds 4 million confirmed cases of Covid-19 and is close to 124 thousand deaths | Coronavirus

The registered country 1,218 Covid-19 deaths confirmed in the last 24 hours, reaching the total of 123,899 deaths. With that, the The moving average of new deaths in Brazil in the last 7 days was 878 deaths., a -10% variation in relation to the data recorded in 14 days.

In confirmed cases, 4,001,422 Brazilians with the new coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic, 48,632 of those confirmed on the last day. A the moving average of cases was 39,917 per day, a + 1% variation in relation to the cases registered in 14 days. The number of infected people doubled in less than 50 days. On July 16 there were 2,014,738 confirmed cases.

In relation to Tuesday (31), RR, CE and PE were in decline and, today, they are stable. AM was falling and now the average death rate is increasing. The Amazonas Health Surveillance Foundation, responsible for the balance in the state, says that only 4 of the 158 deaths registered on Wednesday occurred in the last 24 hours. The rest is due to deaths from previous months that were reclassified by the Manaus Municipal Health Secretariat as deaths from Covid-19.
