RIO – Brazil registered 22,622 new cases and 317 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. Since the start of the pandemic, 6,336,278 cases and 173,165 lives lost have been confirmed, according to the media consortium.

The moving average of deaths, also verified by the bulletin, was 518. This level means stability, since there was a negative variation of 7% in relation to the last 14 days. Variations between 15% and -15% are considered stability in numbers.

The moving average of cases was 34,748, 21% more than 14 days ago. That means a 20% growth compared to two weeks ago.

Eight states showed an increase in the moving average of deaths: Santa Catarina, Espírito Santo, Acre, Amazonas, Rondônia, Ceará, Pernambuco and Sergipe.
