The director of BBB promised to announce on Sunday (17) the day on which he will announce the names of the participants of the next edition. And he kept his promise: it will be on Tuesday (19). Once again, Boninho proves that he is a master in the art of promoting the program he has run with great success since 2002.
But, as we noted in this week’s edition of the UOL Vê TV podcast (look down), there is an exaggeration even by Boninho’s exaggerated standards. Why so much marketing about what’s going to happen at BBB 21?
Billed as the “largest” BBB of all time, because it will be the longest (it will be 100 days), the reality show appears to be a lifesaver for Globo earlier in the year.
The huge success of the previous edition certainly encouraged the sponsors. Add to that the fact that the station has promised spectacular results in terms of audience and engagement for those who advertise on this year’s show.
This may explain why Boninho is working so hard to promote an edition that is still far from beginning. With a premiere scheduled for January 25 a week from now, BBB 21 has been a topic in the media since late December last year. The sponsors are sure to be happy.
