Militants in favor of President Jair Bolsonaro (without party) will hold a demonstration this Saturday afternoon (9) in Brasilia, on the Esplanada dos Ministérios. Critical speeches are mainly addressed to former Minister Sergio Moro, Governor João Doria (PSDB-SP), Speaker of the House, Rodrigo Maia (DEM-RJ) and the Supreme Court (STF). Unlike other demonstrations, this one did not have the presence of the President of the Republic, Jair Bolsonaro.
An electric trio that accompanied the demonstration had the “Dictator STF” banner. Protesters called for “army in the streets” in speeches. There was also a banner with the phrase “target shooting” and the faces of Moro, Doria, Maia, from Governor Wilson Witzel (PSC-RJ), Deputy Joice Hasselmann (PSL-SP) and Minister Alexandre de Moraes, from STF .
Some of the protesters even booed the raising of the national flag at half-staff, a tribute from Congress to those killed by the Covid-19 in the country. Alcolumbre and Maia decreed the national mourning for three days this Saturday, due to the mark of ten thousand deaths, which must be officially reached this Saturday. During this period, any celebration, celebration or holiday is prohibited.
Adherence
The supporters themselves, when discussing the reason for the president’s absence, acknowledged that the act this Saturday had less adherence than the previous ones. “They ignored the captain’s call,” said one of the organizers, who said he came from Goiânia (GO), referring to Bolsonaro.
The group remained for more than an hour in front of the Planalto Palace. Screaming “Myth, where are you? I came here to see you,” the protesters gradually dispersed, around 2:30 pm.
