The president, however, said that the immunizer will be available to the population.

Bolsonaro responded, amid insults, criticism that he was setting a “bad example” by saying that he would not be vaccinated, arguing that he already had the disease caused by the new virus.

The STF decided Thursday that the vaccine is mandatory, but cannot be forced. Instead, according to the vote of the rapporteur, Minister Ricardo Lewandowski, restrictive measures can be imposed on those who refuse to be immunized.
