Workers who exercised professional activity under the formal contract can receive up to R $ 2,090.00 in reference to PIS / Pasep wage subsidy in 2020. The value refers to the sum of the calendars of those who worked in 2018 and 2019.
In both situations, the amount paid is up to R $ 1,045.00. The calculation that determines how much the worker will receive is made by multiplying the minimum paid R $ 88.00 by the number of months worked in the reference base years.
Still in force, the 2019/2020 calendar had its announced end for May 29. Until then, legal workers can use the company’s service channels. Federal Economic Fund or Bank of Brazil for the rescue of resources.
Expected to close on June 30 of this year, the anticipated closure was due to the need to launch the 2020/2021 calendar, initially scheduled to start on July 16. The idea is to make more money available to workers during the crisis as soon as possible.
Who can receive?
Citizens who, at the same time, meet the following requirements are entitled to the wage bonus:
- Having worked in a formal contract for at least 30 days (one month) in the years 2018 and / or 2019;
- Be enrolled in PIS / Pasep for at least five years;
- Have received up to two minimum wages as average monthly income;
- Keep the data updated in the Annual Social Information List (RAIS), under the responsibility of the employer.
What are the amounts paid?

Although PIS is aimed at employees of a private company, Pasep is offered to employees in the public sector. Payments for each benefit follow the date of birth and the enrollment number, respectively.

Withdrawals
Caixa Econômica Federal and Banco do Brasil are the institutions responsible for transfers to workers. Take a look at the service channels for each:
PIS – Caixa Econômica Federal
- Through Citizen Card + Password: at ATMs and lottery units;
- By means of official identification document and without the Citizen Card + Password: for assistance from Caixa agencies;
- Account holders Cash: the deposit of the amount is automatically made in the account if the balance exceeds R $ 1.00.
Pasep – Banco do Brasil
- Through an identification document: at Banco do Brasil branches;
- BB account holders also automatically receive the amounts in their accounts.
