BRASÍLIA – President Jair Bolsonaro met, on Saturday night, with the president of the Senate, Davi Alcolumbre (DEM-AP), the minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) Dias Toffoli and Kássio Marques, judge appointed for a vacancy in the court.

The meeting took place in the house of Toffoli, in Brasilia, in the context of the articulation for the approval of the name of the judge for the vacancy in the STF in the Senate. Also present was Raul Jungmann, former Minister of Public Security.

– It was a fraternization, nobody was talking about work. We weren’t here to discuss a serious matter, Toffoli told GLOBO after the meeting.

Those present watched the match between Palmeiras and Ceará on television this Saturday. When Bolsonaro arrived, a driver went to get five pizzas.

Kassio Marques has already started the “kiss of the hand” in Brasilia for the vacancy at the STF. Even before his name was referred to the Senate by President Jair Bolsonaro for a seat on the Federal Supreme Court, Judge Kassio Marques had already met with senators in Brasilia. He also sought superior court ministers.
