President Jair Bolsonaro said in a live broadcast on social networks on Thursday 10, that when a vaccine against the new coronavirus finally arrives in Brazil, it will be the team of the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) who will define if yes people they will be vaccinated or not.

“There was a problem with the Oxford vaccine, which we were trying. We are waiting to know the causes … to continue investigating, testing, to see if it can be applied to people or not, “said the president.

As in past lives, Bolsonaro once again criticized the law, approved by the National Congress, which establishes a 72-hour period for Anvisa to grant exceptional and temporary authorization for the importation and distribution of medical supplies to combat covid-19 that have already been been validated by certain foreign health authorities. The president’s veto of this term was finally overruled by the legislature.

In the broadcast, Bolsonaro announced that he will travel to Bahia tomorrow (11). He said that he will pass, together with the Minister of Infrastructure, Tarcísio de Freitas, through the municipalities of Barreiras and São Desidério to monitor the work on the works of the West-East Integration Railway (Fiol).
