Weyne Vasconcelos, publicist, art director, illustrator, graphic designer, photographer, author and artist passed away on Saturday morning, 25, due to the new coronavirus.
Born in Fortaleza, he was 60 years old, according to the newspaper O Povo.
Weyne began an advertising career in 1976 at Publicinorte. He studied Civil Engineering between 1981 and 1984, at the University of Fortaleza and also worked in large agencies in the states of Pernambuco, Minas Gerais and São Paulo, among which the home agency of the Abril Group.
The artist never attended classes in studios or art schools. To exercise, he was inspired by artists such as the Spanish Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dalí, in addition to the local reference of Aldemir Martins.
