Bishop Daniel Malafaia, from the Assembly of Deus Madureira, died on Saturday (12), due to complications from Covid-19. He was hospitalized in serious condition in Rio.

The death was denounced by the National Convention of the Assemblies of God Madureira (Conamad) by Daniel Malafaia, the pastor’s son, in publications on a social network.

“With regret, we report the death of beloved Bishop Daniel Malafaia. May the Holy Spirit comfort and comfort your family, especially Bishop Gemima. Daniel was the cousin of Pastor Silas Malafaia, president of the Assembly of God Victory in Christ.

Bishop Daniel Malafaia was the leader of the Assembly of God Nação Madureira in Campo Grande, in the West Zone of the city, which he had commanded for more than 20 years, and was on the board of directors of Conamad.
