WASHINGTON – President-elect Joe Biden sprained his ankle while playing with Major, one of his two German Shepherds, during Thanksgiving holidays. Sunday’s tests found that the Democrat had two cracks on his right foot and would need to wear an orthopedic boot for a few weeks.

On his Twitter, Trump momentarily paused his crusade in which he brings the Democrat’s victory under control and wishes for a quick improvement by sharing a video of Biden leaving the orthopedic clinic.
The president-elect’s personal physician, Kevin O’Connor, reported that the first X-rays showed no “apparent fracture,” indicating that Biden had only suffered a sprain. However, a subsequent CT scan found small cracks in the middle of the president-elect’s foot, the doctor said in a statement.
O’Connor said the president-elect “will probably have to wear a orthopedic boot for several weeks.” A spokesman for the transitional government said Biden preferred to go to the doctor on Sunday night so as not to interrupt his schedule on Monday.

This morning, the president-elect will receive his first National Security report, more than 20 days after his election. The official start of the transition was postponed by Trump, in his refusal to acknowledge defeat in the elections. After the consecutive failures of the judicial crusade to try to reverse the outcome, the president gave his approval last week for the process of transfer of power to begin officially.
The former vice president of Barack Obama will take office on January 20 and will be the oldest president in the history of the United States. In addition to Major, adopted in 2018, Biden will bring the dog Champ to the White House, who has been with the president-elect’s family since 2008. A cat is also expected to join Joe and Jill Biden’s pets. With that, he takes up the tradition of American presidents having pets in the White House.
