The rapid change in the skies of Belo Horizonte on Wednesday afternoon (7) could be repeated in the city on Thursday (8) as, again, rains accompanied by lightning and gusts of wind are expected until 8 am. Friday (9). The statement is from the Civil Defense of BH, which draws attention to the residents of the mining capital during the rainy season.
The rain is expected not to be as voluminous and, according to the municipal agency’s notice, the blows should be up to 20 millimeters. As for the gale that occurred on Wednesday, it is possible that it will repeat since there is an expectation of winds with speeds around 45 km / h this Thursday.

Despite the arrival of the rains in Belo Horizonte, the heat will not give the city a break. The maximum expected for the day remains around 37ºC, a temperature close to that reached on Wednesday, which is now considered the hottest day in history. The sensation of heat will only improve from Monday (12) when the expected maximum falls around 30ºC, and the minimum should remain around 19ºC.
