A Belo Horizonte City Council commented this Tuesday about the two fines applied to the former Atlantic doctor, Felipe Naves Kalil, son of the mayor Alexandre Kalil (PSD), for not taking care of a piece of land they own, located in Bairro Castelo, Regio da Pampulha. State of Minas, PBH manifested itself through a note (see the full text below), explaining why the infractions, practiced on December 4, 2017, were published in the Official Director of the Municipality that Saturday (21).
According to the PBH notice, “the municipality has a five-year term to issue fines related to what was verified.” The note also states that “routine actions are taken for the maintenance and conservation of vacant lots” and that “this year new inspections were carried out, with the issuance of notification so that the owner can keep the cleaning and conservation of the lot.”
According to Official Director of the Municipality, the reason for Felipe Kalil’s first assessment was “stop mowing or clearing the ground in the building or unused land in front of the public road or for not draining the land, not providing the adequate conditions for the drainage of rainwater ”.
The second notice of violation was due to the owner “ceasing to build, maintain or keep the ride in perfect condition in front of the property and / or in the minimum frontal space configured as an extension of the sidewalk ”. The amount of the fines will be decided during the administrative process. Felipe Kalil has 15 days to appeal the evaluations.

The Municipality of Belo Horizonte clarifies that, in accordance with the provisions of federal law 9,873 / 1999, the municipality has a period of five years to carry out the issuance of fines related to what has been verified.
PBH also notes that routine actions are taken to maintain and conserve vacant lots. This year new inspections were carried out, with the issuance of a notification for the owner to maintain the cleanliness and conservation of the lot.
