The president of Corinthians, Andrés Sánchez, used his Twitter to send a hint to Flamengo in the midst of the mess about whether or not the match between Palmeiras and the Rio de Janeiro club would be held this Sunday afternoon at Allianz Parque. The leader’s position was to paralyze the Brazilian Championship if the duel did not occur.

Shortly before, the Minas Gerais official stated that “the regulations are clear, with very serious sanctions: clubs cannot claim or benefit from the decisions of the” Common Justice “on the organization of competitions.”
