The “BBB 20” has reached its final stretch, picking up many major brands. After the wall on Tuesday (21), which eliminated Mari González, the edition has the six largest votes in the history of the program. In addition, the season entered the podium of the most watched of the decade.
According to journalist Maurício Stycer, a columnist for UOL, the dispute between Mari, Manu Gavassi and Babu Santana was the fourth largest in number of votes: 359 million. In fact, in the Top 10 of the biggest walls of “Big Brother Brazil”, seven are only from the 2020 season. Not to mention the world record, when Manu, Felipe Prior and Mari obtained 1.5 billion votes.
Another important mark was registered by Babu. So far, the actor has returned from nine marbles. Before him, Ana Carolina (BBB 9) and Marcelo Zagonel (BBB 14) held the seawall record, after the public set it seven times. In their editions, they both finished fourth. It is worth mentioning that, with the wall of this Thursday (23), the interpreter of Tim Maia can still increase his record.

Following the trend of the season, the numbers are likely to increase further and these records are updated in the last days of the competition. According to Notícias da TV, in yesterday’s episode, “BBB 20” reached a new audience record in the edition, registering 32.7 points in Greater São Paulo. Reality reached the general average of 25 points and, with that, it became the third most watched season in the last ten years.
The “BBB 20” is second after “BBB 18”, which had 26.2 points in the general audience average, and “BBB 12”, which registered 25.3 points on average. The edition that can crown Babu Santana, Manu Gavassi, Rafa Kalimann or Thelma Assis as winners exceeded the audience number of the other seven seasons of the last decade. Who knew that this mix between popcorn and box would make a good broth, right?
