‘BBB 20’: learn the story of the three finalists, Rafa, Manu and Thelma

There were exactly 90 days of ‘Big Brother Brasil 20’, which reaches the final on Monday night (27). Three finalists compete for R $ 1.5 million: Dr. Thelma, digital influencer Rafa and actress and singer Manu. But, if you have not yet discovered who the three are, we will explain it to you. Manu Gavassi

Face already known in the artistic world before joining the “BBB 20”, the actress, singer and songwriter Manoela Latini Gavassi Francisco, better known as Manu Gavassi, is 27 years old and was born in São Paulo, capital. He began his artistic career at the age of 16, when he printed pages of the magazine “Capricho” as a model.

From modeling to music it was a leap. A year later, the São Paulo woman was already releasing her first album titled “Manu Gavassi”. Since then, she has divided her career between music, television, cinema and dubbing: the actress acted in the soap opera “Malhação Sonhos” (2014) and lent her voice to Dorothy Gale, in the movie “Lenda de Oz”.

When he joined “BBB”, Manu put on a character by mocking the show itself and adopting an ironic trajectory, always repeating that he was there for “a spiritual retreat”. This path was not well received by the public and the inmates, being called a “plan” inside and outside the house. However, by going to the White Room with Felipe Prior and Gizelly, Manu began to show more of his personality.

She starred in interesting scenes when she explained the terms of feminism to Prior and when she got mad at the psychologist Victor Hugo. His choreography for the song “Don’t Start Now, by Dua Lipa, was another highlight of Manu’s passage on the show.

During the confinement, the singer, who was found on the wall three times and was the leader only once, especially approached Rafa. With other inmates, such as Prior and Hadson, he had a tense relationship and even refused to send a message to the player when he left the house.

He also starred in a racist moment, praising the couple formed by Marcela and Daniel. “For me, as a couple, the color matches, the color of the people, it is very strong. Aesthetically speaking, you are extremely nice, ”he said.

Manu was also known around the house for his little dance. Several times, he choreographed the success of Britain’s Dua Lipa. Finally, he almost went insane when the artist was invited to perform live during the show. Outside the house, the inmates had a large crowd: Bruna Marquezine, her friend and confidant, campaigned for the actress.

Despite being confined, Manu kept his social networks very active outside the home. Before isolating herself, the woman from São Paulo recorded more than a hundred videos in which she converses with her followers, as if she were commenting on the program. The culmination of this strategy was the release of the music video for the song “Audio de Excuses”.

Rafa Kalimann

Mineira de Campina Verde, Rafaella Kalimann is 27 years old and is a digital influence: when she joined the program, she already had 3 million followers, today, only on Instagram, there are 12 million. He currently lives between the cities of São Paulo and Goiânia and works to raise funds for humanitarian missions in Africa. Rafa is officially single, but it is rumored that she would have an affair with the singer Léo (from the former duet Victor and Léo), for having starred in her latest video, “Jéssica”, and for some comments made at home.

In 2014, still anonymously, Rafa even signed up for the show, encouraged by his mother, who loves the reality show. “When I started being successful on social media, I thought I would never have a chance, but then the invitation came and everything went well,” he told the show’s website.

Rafa defines himself as positive and lively, but the characteristic that caught the public’s attention was his serenity. Agreed, not always, as he also had some fights in the edition, including the first, with the also influential digital Bianca Andrade, for a pre-show event. With the singer Flay there were several confrontations. In one, he delivered a speech that became an immediate meme: “I don’t like you, I don’t feel the truth about you, I think you are inconsistent,” he said.

Certainly, Minas Gerais will also be remembered in the “BBB” for its religiosity and its “premonitions” through dreams. He went on to say that the participant’s son Pyong had already been born, in addition to having agreed that, at a certain point, the confined Flay would become a leader.

Rafa was twice a leader, once an angel and was walled three times.

Thelma Assis

The anesthesiologist Thelma Assis, or Thelminha, is 35 years old and is from São Paulo. Married for ten years, she is also a dancer and dancer and several times, during the edition, she declared her love for samba. Being stubborn was his main characteristic (inside and outside the “BBB 20”). With no money to pay for college, he studied for three years to pass the entrance exam.

He ended up entering a private university with a 100% scholarship, but had to change cities. “First, I lived in a pension. I only took a cup, a fork and some clothes. They paid me R $ 300 per month. I just didn’t go hungry. Also, it had everything you can imagine, ”he told the program’s website, revealing that he never managed to buy a book and that he did not have a stethoscope for practical classes.

Adopted in just three days, Thelma discovered the fact through an anonymous call. “To this day, I don’t know who called me. I was downstairs for two days, but I understood my parents’ decision. Being born from their hearts was the best thing that could have happened to me in life, ”she said, who never looked for the biological family.

The doctor also revealed episodes of racism and self-acceptance on the website. “In both dance and medicine, I was always the only black woman in my groups,” she said. “My story is similar to that of many black girls. I hated my hair, so I straightened it. I didn’t even remember what it was like without chemistry. One day I rebelled and passed the scissors. It was my release, ”he said.

In the program, the doctor was twice the leader and was walled four times. In the first few weeks, she formed a trio of friends with Marcela and Gizelly, but with Daniel and Ivy approaching the group, she found herself more isolated. From the beginning, he also remained close to actor Babu Santana. Halfway through the game, he created ties with those who became program finalists, Manu and Rafa.

Thelma, of course, also had episodes of a fight, with Lucas (when he decided not to contribute to the food purchase), with Mari (who had hinted that he had let the doctor win a 26-hour stress test), and with Flay , in A discussion of consistency in the game.
