Ten armed men handed over two SuperVia drivers on Monday morning (19) to get to Mangueira, in the North Zone of Rio.
The maintenance train, which was carrying out an inspection of the air network in the region of the Jacarezinho station, where an operation of the Military Police was taking place, was stopped near the Triagem station.
The armed group then entered the railroad and approached the two drivers. The criminals went with the composition to near the Mangueira region, where they also landed on the railroad and left the rail system. The Triagem and Mangueira regions are close by.
After the episode, the drivers had to travel to Central do Brasil, where they received psychological assistance.

Police officers from the Shock Battalion and the Special Operations Battalion (BOPE) reinforce surveillance at the scene with armored vehicles.
