In a post-game interview, Gerson said he heard “Shut up, nigga” from midfielder Ramirez. In the episode, the Flamengo athlete also argued with Mano Menezes on the field and asked the coach for respect.

Tricolor claims that Ramírez vehemently denied the charges but, at the same time, dismissed the midfielder pending the investigation of the case.

The Office of the Prosecutor of the Superior Court of Sports Justice (STJD) will analyze the summary of the game and the video of the game to verify how to act in the case. There is still no definition of what will be done by the Prosecutor’s Office, which can request other evidence if it deems it necessary. The documentation must arrive from CBF between Monday and Tuesday and, from there, it will be analyzed. As the STJD will be in recess between December 22 and January 4, the trial, if any, will only be next year.

According to Ronaldo Piacente, STJD Attorney General, the moment is prudent to analyze the evidence and take the correct actions. According to him, it is necessary that the act does not go unpunished if it is proven, but it is also necessary to be careful not to be unfair.

– You need to see if there is evidence that this event occurred. We must be very careful not to let the act go unpunished, which is very serious, just as we cannot commit an injustice to punish those who, perhaps, have not committed it.
