1998 OR2 tem 4 km of storage, 1.8 km long and approaching the planet no April 29
A team compiled by researchers from the Virtual Telescope Project, in Rome, and from the Radio Telescope in Arecibo, in Porto Rico, managed to photograph a huge asteroid that would pass next Terra on April 29 (next quarter-February).
Made as 1998 OR2 or 52768, or asteroid with about 4 km of compression, 1.8 km in length and a distance of 6.3 milhes of kilometers from the planet, or corresponding to about 16 times between to Terra ea Lua.
Embora isso seja “perto” in astronomical thermos, distant or enough not to represent nenhum cliff of coliso com nosso planet. Or asteride a NEO (Near Earth Object) classified as “potentially perigoso”, but it is thermo applied to any object with more than 140 meters and at a distance of less than 7.4 milhes of km from Terra.
In 2079 or 1998 OR2 pass ainda mais perto de ns, at 1.8 milho of kilometers, or 4.6 times to distance at a Lua.
#TeamRadar and the @NAICobservatory staff are taking the proper safety measures as we continue observations. This week we have been observing near-Earth asteroid 1998 OR2, which looks like it’s wearing a mask! It’s at least 1.5 km across and is passing 16 lunar distances away! pic.twitter.com/X2mQJCT2Qg

Because of its size and distance, 1998 OR2 is quite brilliant, or perhaps it may be seen as loving telescopes. The next day is around 6:56 am (Braslia time) on the next day of February, April 29.
Astronomers will not take the opportunity to take measurements and refine our techniques to estimate or size asteroids, to study composition of 1998 OR2. These reports may be you have no future, in case our planet found a really dangerous asteroid.
