Anvisa, in note

The photos posted on the networks show a box of the Chinese vaccine candidate BBIBP-CorV, under development by the Beijing Institute of Biological Products, a subsidiary of the China National Biotechnology Group (CNBG), which belongs to the pharmaceutical company Sinopharm. .

The vaccine has no connection to CoronaVac, an immunizer produced by the Butantan Institute, in São Paulo, in association with the Sinovac laboratory.

According to Anvisa, the Sinopharm vaccine does not have research in Brazil and, therefore, it was not imported into the country.

“The vaccines that were imported are with the research institutions and only volunteers selected for research could be vaccinated,” the agency said.
