A Ancine (National Film Agency) approved, this Wednesday (22), loans for cinemas and audiovisual companies economically affected by the coronavirus quarantine. In addition to using Audiovisual sector fund, the Agency will also create a line of credit in the BNDES (National Development Bank) (via Folha de S. Paulo)
Loans granted by Ancine, which can reach a value of R $ 400 million, aim to maintain the capital turnover of companies in the sector, which closed the doors of establishments throughout Brazil in March.
In addition, BNDES will also suspend the collection of debt installments made by these companies before the COVID-19 quarantine period. Small exhibitors, on the other hand, will have non-refundable access to the resources of the Audiovisual Sector Fund.
