Cruzeiro fans must regularly ask themselves: how long will the bad tide last? New start in Serie B, old attitudes on the field. New stumble. Cruzeiro reached the eleventh day of the competition, winning less than 25% of the points he played in the last eight games and again abusing the balls raised against Avaí.
In Mineirão, this Friday, the team abused the balls raised in the penalty area. Matheus Pereira and Daniel Guedes were very active and, in most cases, tried to search for attackers in the area. A reflection of this is that the team had 16 corners in the match. And he was hardly in danger in that sense.
In the second half, when he had already taken the goal from Pedro Castro, he further abused the balls raised to the penalty area. But nothing had an effect. The stage is very bad for Cruzeiro, and the club’s backstage effervescence only tends to increase, with more internal and external loads.
The Cruzeiro fan is tired of results and poor performances, at a time when the chances of access decrease with each round. The reality of Cruzeiro today, with only eight points out of 33 disputed (remembering that it started with six negative points), is a fight against relegation to Serie C. And not access to Serie A, as Cruzeiro dreamed so much.

Fruit of the team’s performance. In numbers, of the last 24 points played (eight games), Cruzeiro only won five. Performance below 25%, worthy of a team struggling not to fall apart.
As strong in much of his history as he is main, Cruzeiro, today, fears little of his opponents in Mineirão. Of the six games played at home, he only won two, lost three and drew another.
A third of the competition is tight and Cruzeiro sees an obligation to dramatically improve his performance every day. Right now, it’s hard to believe this scenario based on what has been presented in the field.
