America draws again without goals away from home, but gets a provisional place in Sr4 B’s G4

THE GAME

For a game between two G4 candidates, the first half was well below expectations. The actions were concentrated in the midfield, with the teams at a slow pace. America even had justification for the attrition, since it came from the confrontation in Chapec, last Friday, and a long trip to Macei. The CRB, which also had little rest because it performed that day, showed initial pressure, but did not show inspiration either.

While the CRB coach, Marcelo Cabo, charged pressure by scoring, in order to hinder the opponent’s force, the touch of the ball, Amrica was better positioned at 25 minutes. But the chances were rare. Juninho invaded the area in an individual bid and crossed low. Lo Passos shared with Hugo, who avoided the worst for the local team.

America began to appear more in the attack, even without effectiveness. Coelho felt the absence of the injured gunner Rodolfo, the great offensive reference. The trio Marcelo Toscano, Felipe Azevedo and Lo Passos played in moderation and hardly threatened. In Coelho’s best chance, to the center from the right and Toscano, facing the goal, caught the ball badly. Then Felipe Azevedo received a gift from Moacir and, boldly, took a chance outside the area and made a mistake.

On the CRB side, top scorer Lo Gamalho was not in tune with his teammates and fought alone against the Minas Gerais team. Goalkeeper Matheus Cavichioli barely worked and appeared on a low shot from the local scorer. Midfielder Moacir received a good pass from Diego Torres, but it ended very badly. The teams went to rest without hitting the net.

DOUGH

The second half was better, the teams had a different attitude and forced the goalkeepers to work well. The CRB returned active, looking for more attack, with the entry of Pablo Dyego. Matheus Cavichioli showed confidence when activated. America rose in production with the exchanges in Lisca, especially with Ademir, who created dangerous movements. In one of them, Z Ricardo took a surplus from the area and dropped the bomb. Edson Mardden crushed the belief.

Another bet from Lisca, Vito wasted an excellent opportunity in the area. Neto Berola was another substitute, with the purpose of increasing the speed on the wings. The game was more open at 30 minutes, and America had more changes: Guilherme and Geovane in the places of Diego Ferreira and Al, respectively. In the end, Matheus Cavichioli showed his service on Hugo’s offer, while Berola tried. Even with renewed blood, Coelho did not reach the goal of returning the three points on the road. The draw against a direct rival, however, cannot be overlooked.
