Update seems to come first on MSI B450 motherboard models

A AMD is about to launch two new “entry level” processor models, the Ryzen 3 3100 and the Ryzen 3 3300X. With that, the company began distributing a new firmware update that brings the AGESA BIOS to version 1.0.0.5.

The information comes from Guru3D, which states that M: YES It appears to be the first manufacturer to bring the update to its motherboards. Apparently, the following list of models can now be updated with the new firmware:

– B450M-A Pro MAX
– B450M Pro-VDH MAX
– B450M Pro-M2 MAX
– B450M MAX Mortar
– B450-A Pro MAX
– B450 Tomahawk MAX
– B450 Gaming Plus MAX

The website also reports that a beta BIOS test is available for MEG X570 Ace and MEG X570 Godlike, but it is not an official distribution yet, so the changelist only has a solution for an audio loss through HDMI error when using a video card AMD RX570. Apparently, MSI is working with the most popular B450 models first, but the update distribution shouldn’t take long to extend to more options.

However, we still do not have information from other manufacturers that provide the update. Therefore, we ask users to find their card update on official websites in the coming days, to comment here to find out where it is appearing.

We don’t have an official date set for the arrival of the Ryzen 3 3100 and Ryzen 3 3300X yet, but speculation points to May 21 for the fastest model, and the cheapest one will launch later on June 16. On this second date, the new chipset cards should also appear B550, still in the AM4 socket, of course.
