According to the executive secretary of the Ministry of Citizenship, Antônio Barreto, the total of 5.7 million beneficiaries of emergency aid of R $ 600 will not receive aid of R $ 300.

Even so, the secretary said that 250,000 cases with requests to receive the benefit are processed in the Judiciary.

The federal government confirmed the “residual emergency aid” at the beginning of September, which is four extra installments with a value of R $ 300. However, the requirements to obtain additional installments are stricter than those of the initial five, of R 600 dollars.

New emergency aid rules

Among the requirements maintained, there is a minimum age of 18 years, except for teenage mothers. The income requirement remains: those with a per capita income of up to half the minimum wage or a total family income of up to three minimum wages are entitled to assistance.
