According to the Ministry of Citizenship, a total of 27 million people who are not part of Bolsa Família will receive the first payment of R $ 300 from the emergency aid extension.

The total number of eligible beneficiaries who do not participate in Bolsa Família amounts to 48 million people, which means that only 56.25% of those approved will receive the four installments of R $ 300.

According to the rules established for the extension, only workers who received the first installment of the R $ 600 benefit in April, and who have already received the five installments, will be entitled to the four additional installments.

On September 28, the government released the official payment schedule for the R $ 300 installments of emergency aid to beneficiaries who are not part of Bolsa Família.

“There will be 27 million people who will receive R $ 300 or R $ 600 (in the case of single-parent mothers), which amounts to an investment from the federal government of more than R $ 9 billion. As has happened to date, the calendar will follow the month of birth of the beneficiaries, that is, the credits will begin with those born in January, then February, March and so on, in the digital social savings already existing in their name ” the ministry said in a note.

However, the ministry’s statement does not clarify how many quotas the beneficiaries will receive.

However, there is a new criterion on income tax. In the first aid law, Brazilians who received more than R $ 28,559.70 in taxable income in 2018 were excluded. The value remains as a criterion for the new installments, but now the declaration on taxable income for 2019 is considered.

In 2019, those who received exempt, non-taxable or taxable income greater than R $ 40 thousand will not be able to receive the aid.

Also excluded are Brazilians who were placed on the income tax return of that year as a dependent as a spouse, companion in which the taxpayer has a child, son or stepchild under 21 years old or under 24 years old registered in higher education. or high school technical education.

In addition, those who, as of December 31, 2019, had possession or ownership of goods or rights worth more than R $ 300 thousand cannot receive the aid. Brazilians living abroad and prisoners in a closed regime cannot receive R $ 300 assistance either.

Whoever found a formal job, with a work contract, will not be able to receive the new fees, as well as whoever received any security or social assistance benefit. Women heads of households will receive two installments, that is, R $ 600 per installment. However, the female head of the family will be the only one in the family who will receive help.

  4. Those who declared, in the base year of 2019, taxable income higher than R $ 28,559.70;
  5. That they had possession or ownership of goods or rights worth more than R $ 300 thousand as of December 31, 2019;
  6. Those who received exempt, non-taxable or taxed income exclusively at source with an amount greater than R $ 40 thousand in 2019;
  7. Who was included in 2019 as a dependent of the taxpayer with one of the three previous points. as a spouse, partner, son or stepchild under 21 or under 24 years old enrolled in a place of higher education or secondary technical education;
  8. Who lives abroad;
  9. Who is imprisoned in a closed regime;
  10. Who has an indication of death in the government databases.
