Rio – Before returning to Paris, forward Neymar experienced a remarkable moment in his career this Saturday. He dug his feet to be used on the Maracana Walk of Fame and is featured alongside Brazilian soccer legends such as Pelé and Ronaldo. The ceremony at the player’s house in Mangaratiba was attended by Senator Flávio Bolsonaro and also by a video call with President Jair Bolsonaro.
The person in charge of the tribute, Leandro Alves, Secretary of Sport, Leisure and Youth of the State of Rio, was at Neymar’s house, in Mangaratiba, where he made a foot strike.
“For everything he did for the Brazilian team, what he does for Brazilian football in the world, it is more than fair. As soon as possible we will organize an event in the stadium to commemorate this moment, because it deserves it. Neymar is very happy with this tribute ”, explains the secretary Leandro Alves.
During the meeting, Neymar and Jair Bolsonaro participated in a video call with a very relaxed tone. The President of the Republic wanted to know about the player’s end-of-year events and questioned whether the athlete had had love affairs during the New Year celebrations.
An inauguration ceremony that will be attended by the President of the Republic, Jair Bolsonaro, and Governor Cláudio Castro, will be organized in Maracanã on Neymar’s next agenda with the Brazilian team at the stadium.
