Actor Marco Ricca enters the ICU after contracting Covid-19

Actor Marco Ricca, 58, is admitted to an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Casa de Saúde São José, in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro, after contracting Covid-19. Hospitalized for almost a week, Ricca is sedated and intubated. The actor showed improvement on Tuesday, according to a bulletin released by the medical team, but he still has no plans to leave the ICU.

Ricca is married to Luli Miller, who is expecting the couple’s first daughter, who already has two children. The artist’s eldest son, Felipe Esteves Ricca, from the actor’s relationship with fellow actress Adriana Esteves, came to visit his father in the hospital before going to the ICU. Felipe already had Covid-19.

Ricca’s last soap opera was “Earth Orphans.” The actor also participated in the series “Hebe”, which was shown on Globo screens this year.
