On Tuesday, coach Abel Ferreira conducted his first training session with the Palmeiras squad. After a presentation to the athletes and officials, the Portuguese dressed in uniform and went out to the field of the Soccer Academy.
With the new technical commission, the Palmeirense team began to prepare for the match against Red Bull Bragantino, for the Copa do Brasil, a day after the victory against Atlético-MG. Before training, Abel Ferreira had meetings and introduced himself to the players. The athletes had already had a quick contact with the coach after the victory over Atlético-MG, in the Allianz Parque changing rooms.
Abel begins his work in Verdão accompanied by four other professionals: assistants Carlos Martinho and Vitor Castanheira, physical trainer João Martins and performance analyst Tiago Costa.
This Tuesday, the owners of the victory in Palmeiras against Atlético-MG did a physical recovery job. Only the reserves went to the field for technical work.
