Also according to Climatempo, an extratropical cyclone is expected to form off the coast of southern Brazil on Monday. The phenomenon is an area of low atmospheric pressure associated, in general, with cold fronts.

However, the forecast is that the air pressure will drop very abruptly in a short period of time and this can form the so-called cyclonic bomb, something that does not happen often and leaves meteorologists on alert, since it usually causes strong winds and storms.

The change in weather occurs just after a very sunny and hot weekend in Santa Catarina. The clean climate brought many people to the beaches and state parks and in some cases caused crowds.

The Civil Defense of Santa Catarina warns of strong gusts that can reach 60 km / h on the coast on Monday morning (13). Early in the morning, the affected regions are the South and Greater Florianópolis, and during the day the phenomenon continues further north.
