The survey carried out by the American Johns Hopkins University this Sunday (26) indicates that there are more than 2.9 million confirmed cases of coronavirus and at least 203,000 deaths worldwide due to complications of Covid-19.
Nearly a third of all coronavirus case confirmations worldwide are in the United States. The country has around 940,000 confirmations and at least 53,000 deaths.

In Brazil, there were 4,000 deaths from Covid-19 and 59,000 confirmed cases of the disease across the country, according to an exclusive survey by G1 done with state health departments.

Argentina extended the period of isolation until May 10, but already presents measures to relax the quarantine. Residents of the country can go hiking for up to 1 hour within a radius of 500 meters from their homes.
The measure applies only to cities with less than 500,000 inhabitants, who already live in large urban centers, which represent half of the country, continue to be totally restricted. The quarantine in Argentina was imposed on March 20 and this is the third extension announced by the government.

Spain took a similar step in a nod to the reopening. The Spanish have faced harsh measures, the most restrictive in Europe, since March 14. Starting on Sunday, those with children can go for a walk with their children for a maximum of 1 hour.
Children under 14 can take to the streets accompanied by an adult to walk, but they must respect a radius of 1 km from two houses. The tours will be restricted to the period of 9 and 21 hours. The parks remain closed.

In Italy, the first European country to be affected by the coronavirus, it will allow some companies to reopen later this week, with the aim of reopening industry and construction starting May 4, Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said.
China has announced 11 new cases of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours. In addition, the country said it had not registered any deaths from the disease in 11 days. There are more than 84,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Asian country.
The city of Wuhan, where the pandemic began, now has no more cases of coronavirus in any of its hospitals, a health official told reporters.
In South Korea, large religious temples have been reopened, requiring believers to keep their distance and wear masks after the government relaxed restrictions on religious gatherings.
