Bolsonaro dismisses PF CEO Maurício Valeixo | Politics

Bolsonaro warned Moro that he would replace the FP general manager at a meeting at 9 am Thursday, Moro being the first appointment on Bolsonaro’s official agenda Thursday at 9 am. The president informed Moro that he would replace delegate Maurício Leite Valeixo of the PF command.

By choosing Moro for the post, in 2018 Bolsonaro had promised “carte blanche” so that the minister’s work would not be interfered with. But since then, Bolsonaro and Moro have accumulated differences.

In a note published Thursday, the Association of Federal Police Delegates (ADPF) and the National Federation of Federal Police Delegates (Fenadepol) criticized the return of the possible replacement of the director to the government’s agenda.
