A source from the Portuguese Foreigners and Borders Service (SEF) reported that the man, of African origin, has not been tested for covid-19. He seeks asylum in Portugal and was not detained in England.

According to the newspaper, the man should return to the Portuguese capital on a flight for tomorrow. After that, he will be turned over to the SEF authorities and will be in the custody of the Portuguese Council for Refugees.

Five other people who fled the hostel in Lisbon have yet to be located. The suspicion is that one is in England and four in Portugal.
