The Falcon 9 rocket propulsion was broadcast live
While much of the world is stagnant due to the new coronavirus pandemic, SpaceX has decided to continue launching another 60 satellites from the Starlink constellation this Wednesday (22). The Falcon 9 rocket took off at 4:30 pm, in Braslia time.
The mission was successful and was streamed completely live through the SpaceX page and also on the YouTubeda SpaceX channel.
Mission postponed
The Falcon 9 was launched in space on March 30. However, due to coronavirus-related problems, the United States Space Force reported that SpaceX suspended the launch of the satellite indefinitely.
If today’s launch is successful, the number of Starlink satellites in space will exceed 400. SpaceX plans to have more than 1,000 in orbit by the end of the year. When all the satellites are launched, the company claims to have created an Internet-based communication system that will give access to all parts of the planet.
