Federal Deputy Flordelis (PSD-RJ) cried today in the Ethics Council of the Chamber of Deputies and claimed to be innocent in relation to the murder of her husband, Anderson do Carmo. She is accused by the MP-RJ (Public Ministry of Rio de Janeiro) of being the intellectual author of the crime. Anderson was shot dead in the family home in Niterói (RJ) on June 16, 2019.

“I am innocent, I did not have my husband killed. I did not participate in any act of conspiracy against the life of the man who was my partner for many years, more than 20 years,” she said, saying that Anderson was “much older than my husband. , he was my friend “. According to the deputy, both were “inseparable”.
Flordelis said there was a “murder” of his reputation and reminded the other MPs that he has not yet been tried by the courts. She asked her colleagues to “do nothing wrong” and to see her as a woman and a mother, rather than as a member of parliament.
“I have the right to have my dignity preserved,” he said, defending that he never shunned the process in court or that he took advantage of the prerogatives to be a parliamentarian.
Flordelis was formally charged with a felony of triple qualified murder, attempted murder, misrepresentation, use of false documents and increased criminal organization. Only she was not arrested because she has parliamentary immunity. Currently, it is controlled by an ankle brace.
One of Flordelis’s daughters, Simone dos Santos Rodrigues, confessed to having paid R $ 5,000 for Anderson’s death. The murder was said to have occurred due to sexual advances from Flordelis’s husband. Other family members are also responding to a lawsuit for possible involvement in the case.
In the speech, Flordelis claimed that he did not yet have “the courage” to listen to Simone’s entire confession, but said that he learned that “he said he had killed my husband.”
“This is not right. This was not the path she had to take,” he said.
The agent said she was not aware of Anderson’s alleged harassment. “I did not know what was happening inside my house. I did not know that my husband was harassing my daughter,” she said.
Flordelis’s defense presented yesterday a written defense and requested that the admissibility of the process be reconsidered by the rapporteur of the case, Congressman Alexandre Leite (DEM-SP). The parliamentarian said that, as the representation came from the Board of Directors of the Chamber, the regiment does not allow such an analysis at the moment. Therefore, the process continues to process.
Now, as rapporteur, Leite must promote actions to substantiate his opinion, such as hearing witnesses, within 40 business days.
The deputy said that Flordelis chose not to enter into the discussion of the evidence in the written defense, “limiting himself to informing that, in due time, such questions will be raised and raised” for the recognition of the collegiate.
