Luciano’s fate may be sealed in June, when Globo is expected to give ad agencies and advertisers a spot on next year’s programming. The ballot can be presented before the Superior Electoral Tribunal (TSE) until April of next year.

Among the details of the issue, is the sponsorship of the magazine Luiza chain. The deal, which includes commercial shares of The Wall, runs through June. The commitment can be extended for one year; the company, however, would lose the “Luciano Huck window” if it left the channel in April to engage in the presidential dispute. It should be remembered that Luiza Trajano, owner of the retail chain, has also been listed for the election.

However, there is still the possibility of transferring Huck to Sundays, in the band that Faustão now occupies – who is also sponsored by Magazine Luiza. The rumor in the press, however, is that the house does not intend to give a single face to Sunday, thus resorting to seasonal programs with names like Fábio Porchat and Tatá Werneck.

Consulted by Estadão, Globo reported “that Huck’s contract is in force and that it does not comment or detail the terms or the negotiations.”
