Governor Ibaneis Rocha (MDB) allowed, on Friday (5), the realization of face-to-face classes in educational institutions and private nurseries in the Federal District, and the reopening of academies, as long as there are no collective activities. The measures are valid from next Monday (8).
The services had been prohibited from operating since Sunday (28), due to new restrictions to combat the worsening of the pandemic in the capital. The measures continue to apply to other non-essential establishments.
Ibaneis also allowed the DF Legal Department for the Protection of Urban Planning (DF Legal) to prohibit, for up to 60 days, establishments that cause crowds or seriously violate restrictions imposed by the local government. The measure also provides for a fine of R $ 20 thousand.
In addition, the decree published on Friday authorizes the application of an individual fine, in the amount of R $ 1,000, to each of the participants in irregular settlements captured in the capital.
