This Friday (26), the INSS (National Institute of Social Security) released the schedule for resuming the Proof of Life for retirees and pensioners, starting in May, when the re-entry of beneficiaries in bank branches will again be mandatory. Assistance to banks, however, should be done in a staggered manner, to avoid crowds.
The INSS informs that the trip to the banks must consider the month in which the last registry update was made. Retirees and pensioners must take the life test from May to November 2021, according to each group.
On February 23, the INSS announced that retirees and pensioners who did not earn a living between March 2020 and April of this year will not have their benefits blocked. However, now they must pay attention to the resumption schedule. If they do not do the life test, the benefits will be blocked.
