Eletrobras privatization
One of the reasons that excited the markets was the progress of the privatization of Eletrobras.
Before, the mayor, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), said Tuesday night that the interim measure which deals with the capitalization of Eletrobras (ELET3) will appear on the House plenary agenda next week, after he and the President of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (DEM-MG), have received the text from the president Jair bolsonaro.
“The Chamber will begin the discussion of this provisional measure very quickly, already scheduled for next week in the plenary session of the Chamber of Deputies,” said Lira, who was the last to speak in a quick statement to the press with other authorities.
