With the Copa Libertadores title, obtained last weekend after beating Santos 1-0 in Maracana, Palmeiras reached 6,629.9 points and got close to the top 3 South American teams in the standings.

Flamengo ranks sixth, while Santos, runner-up in the 2020 Libertadores, is ninth.

River Plate accumulates 10,652 points for recent performances in the last editions of Libertadores and Sudamericana. Marcelo Gallardo’s team won the most important tournament on the continent in 2015 and 2018, being runner-up in 2019 and a semi-finalist in 2017 and 2020.

Boca Juniors ranks second, with 8,731.1 points added. Grêmio is in third place with 6,950.8 accumulated in participations in Libertadores and Sul-Americana.

In addition to the two Argentines, gauchos and São Paulo, complete the top 10: Nacional-URU (5444.5), Flamengo (5140.6), Atlético Nacional-COL (4833.3), Peñarol-URU (4632.3), Santos (4443.9) and Independiente-ARG (4210).
