In another audio, Nathanna explains why he appears without a mask in a video recorded inside the Santa Casa de Vitória Hospital, where he works on the front line of the fight against Covid-19.

“That moment there was a moment when I was closing my shift. It was close to 7pm. It was a very tumultuous change that I had. I spent the whole day wearing a mask and did not drink a drop of water. At that moment, it was a moment when I stopped in front of the computer, took a breath, took off my mask so I could drink some water, and made that little joke with the nursing team technician, which had nothing to do with the vaccine. . That’s what happened, ”he told the A Gazeta report.

After the videos reached the press and social media, Nathanna deleted the account.

Regarding the use of the mask, the Santa Casa de Misericórdia Hospital in Vitória opened an investigation to investigate the employee’s conduct, since “the lack of a mask in the environment has been a prohibited practice since the beginning of the pandemic and that all employees have known about this rule ”.

On Monday (25), the Public Ministry of Espírito Santo (MPES) reported that it will establish an administrative procedure to monitor both what is being done in the hospital where the nurse works and what is the Regional Council of Nursing (Coren-ES) investigating the case.

Entities and professionals linked to the health area expressed repudiation of the nurse’s position. The Secretary of State for Health, Nésio Fernandes, spoke about the case on a social network.
