Protests by right-wing groups against Bolsonaro take place in SP and RJ

Groups such as Vem Pra Rua and Movimento Brasil Livre (MBL) made demonstrations this Sunday (24) for the accusation of President Jair Bolsonaro (without a party) in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Belo Horizonte must have acts in the afternoon. The acts were carried out through caravans.

The associations are identified with the right and were among the forces that were militarized for the removal of former president Dilma Rousseff (PT) in 2016. Members of the groups also supported Bolsonaro during the 2018 presidential elections, especially in the second round. . The main exponent of the MBL, federal deputy Kim Kataguiri (DEM-SP), has been critical of Bolsonaro since the beginning of his term and presented a request for impeachment of the president in April last year.

On Saturday (23), protests against Bolsonaro were carried out throughout the country by left-wing groups, such as CUT and Conlutas and the PT, PDT and PSOL parties.
