The transition office stated that The executive actions aim to take “actions to address the Covid-19 pandemic, provide economic relief, combat climate change and promote racial equality”.

According to the statement, Biden “will sign a combination of executive orders, memos, directives and letters to take the initial steps” hours after the inauguration, which is scheduled for noon in Washington (2pm in Brasilia).

“President-elect Biden will act not only to reverse the most serious damage from the Trump administration, but also to begin moving our country forward,” the statement said.
