OR Progress, set of actions of the federal government to promote autonomy, through the generation of employment and income, of the families registered in the Single record for Social Programs of the Federal Government and beneficiaries of Bolsa Família Program, It opened opportunities for low-income microentrepreneurs registered in the Unique Registry and beneficiaries of Bolsa Família.
According to the project, microentrepreneurs will be able to access credit in special conditions for them to undertake them. The program released a total of R $ 4 billion for microcredit operations under the Progredir plan. The beneficiaries can request up to R $ 15 thousand.
The plan combines professional qualification, entrepreneurship support and referral to the labor market, in order to help strengthen individual capacities and generate socioeconomic independence.
Coordinated by the Secretariat for Social and Productive Inclusion of the Ministry of Social Development (MDS), and through public and private alliances, Progredir works jointly and integrated in three areas:
Job intermediation
- Curriculum development tool
- Identification of the candidate’s profile
- Cross-verification of candidate profiles and vacancies offered by partner companies
- Referral to the labor market

According to the Ministry of Social Development, the expectation is that the resources will benefit around 1.5 million people. Until May, R $ 3.3 billion were released and used by this public, starting their own business and generating income.

How to apply?
