The field referee was summoned by the VAR to verify a possible impediment. Esteban himself tells the players on the field that it would be Montiel’s impediment, but it is corrected by the VAR.

After the analysis, the video confirms the impediment and the referee even asks where the match should start again.

The second play was Alan Empereur’s penalty in Borré. The measure was reviewed by the VAR, who right at the beginning of the check says that “I don’t see a penalty, the player drags his leg, from any contact, he looks for contact.”

So, it says there is a contact, but at the moment the player “His feet are already bent and he lets himself fall”, asking Esteban Ostojich to check the monitor.

After reviewing the play, the outfield referee confirms that there was no penalty and says that the “The River player, before contact, is already dragging his foot. I will give a neutral ball in favor of the green team”.

The last play, in addition to the final stage, began with a review of a possible penalty from Kuscevic in Borré. However, the VAR warns that there is an impediment to bidding.

The booth asks the referee to go to the monitor to verify, since it was an interpretive impediment, in this case, if a River player participated in a head-to-head dispute at the beginning of the play.

In a quick review, Esteban Ostojich affirms that the Argentine athlete participated actively in the dispute and marks the offside.
