The bus that transported the Santos players in Argentina was stoned when the delegation arrived at the hotel after the goalless draw with Boca Juniors, this Wednesday, in Bombonera, by Libertadores.
The incident upset Santos’s coaches, managers and players. Soteldo was the one going in the direction of the rock. Fortunately, no one was injured.
– Santos’ bus was stoned when he arrived at the hotel where he is staying. The stone ended up breaking the glass and could have caused some serious injury to the Santos delegation. “An unfortunate attitude that goes against the scale of the duel between two of the best teams on the continent,” the club wrote on social media.
Boca Juniors and Santos will meet next Wednesday, at 7.15pm (Brasilia time), in Vila Belmiro, for the second leg of the Libertadores semifinals.
