The official payment schedule for the emergency aid ended in December 2020. Despite expectations, the government did not extend payments and did not add new quotas for beneficiaries.
The payment was closed on December 29. The amount paid varied according to when the beneficiary began to receive the program and could be R $ 300 (or R $ 600, in the case of mothers) or R $ 600 (or R $ 1,200, in the case of case of mothers). The beneficiaries of Bolsa Família finished receiving their fourth installment of R $ 300 on December 23.
Even with payment completed, emergency aid continues to release withdrawals throughout January 2021. Withdrawals are part of payment cycle 5 and 6.
Furthermore, even with payment cycle 6 completed, there are beneficiaries who started receiving later and continue to receive credit. This applies to 3,690 people who had their program’s registration reevaluated in November, following updates to government databases. The account credit program from the fifth to the fifth installment for these people follows that of withdrawals.
So far, this calendar has only allowed withdrawal (or payment, in the case of these 3,600 people) for those born in January and February, on December 19. The other dates are 2021. See below.
