Adolescent girl washed away by the flood and drowned in BH – Gerais

a 13 year old teenager He died on the night of this Saturday (01/02) after being swept away by a flood because of the rain in the Santa Rosa neighborhood, in Belo Horizonte, in the Pampulha region. According to information from Minas Gerais Military Fire Department (CBMMG), the boy would ride his bicycle on the street during heavy rains.

However, the teenager was already unconscious in a cardiorespiratory arrest caused by drowning, according to the fire department. Technical procedures, such as massages, were performed until the young man was transferred to the Risoleta Tolentino Neves Hospital, in the Vila Clris neighborhood, Reigo Norte de BH.

The Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) was in charge of taking the adolescent to the hospital, with the help of firefighters. Despite this, the child died inside Risoleta Neves.

According to the Civil Defense of BH, between 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and midnight this Sunday (1/3), it rained 51.8 mm in the Pampulha Region, being the fifth most affected by rains in this period. Venda Nova (65.0 mm), East (58.6 mm), Center-South (57.2 mm) and North (52.6 mm) were the other four regional regions most affected by the rain.
