OR America is getting closer and closer to elite access to national football. This Saturday, Coelho won the Guarani 1 to 0, at the Brinco de Ouro Stadium, in Campinas, for the 32nd day, and ‘sleeps’ in the leadership of Srie B of the Brazilian Championship.

With the result, the miners reached 63 points, one more than the vice leader Chapecoense. Verdo do Oeste, however, will take the field this Sunday against Brasil de Pelotas, at 4 pm, at Arena Cond, in Chapec. America has to cheer on the Santa Catarina team to stay first.

The triumph over the Guaraní also brings Coelho closer to the elite. According to the mathematician Tristo García, a team needs 64 points to guarantee a place in Serie A 2021. Thus, a draw in round 33 already secures America in the First Division.

In the next round, America will return to the field Vitria, on Saturday (9), at 7pm, in Independncia, in Belo Horizonte. Before that, the Guarani faces Black Bridge, on Tuesday (5), at 7.15 pm, in Brinco de Ouro, in Campinas.
