The bodies of four people from the same family, who died in a plane crash, were buried in the Goioerê municipal cemetery, in the northwest of Paraná.
The plane in which the family was traveling crashed on Tuesday (29) in the rural area of Mato Rico, in the central region of the state. Valdecy, 56, Luciana, Beatriz, 24, and Júlia Cruzeiro, 18, traveled from Goioerê to the coast of Paraná.
On the afternoon of Wednesday (30), the bodies of the victims were released from the Guarapuava Medical-Legal Institute, also in the central region. Then we went to Goioerê, where the family lived.
The accident
On Tuesday morning, a single-engine plane crashed in the rural area of the Roncador municipality, on the border with Mato Rico, in the Midwest of Paraná.
The aircraft, model Cessna 177B, manufactured in 1974, is named after businessman Valdecy Cruzeiro. He was piloting the aircraft that also transported his wife Luciana and his daughters, the dentist Beatriz and Julia, 18, who was taking the entrance exams to dentistry.
The pet, a dog, was also found dead at the crash site. According to information from the local Civil Defense, Valdecy had more than 20 years of experience as a pilot and, according to the family, was responsible for the Goioerê airport.
The aircraft has been in the businessman’s possession for a short time, since September 22, when it was acquired, according to information from local authorities.
The causes of the accident are under investigation
